Biology : The blacksaddle filefish is an imitator: it is actually a filefish. It can be distinguished by the size of its fins, its slender body and its diamond-shaped silhouette. Although it is not poisonous, it mimics the Valentin’s sharpnose puffer in order to intimidate its predators.
