Biology : This small butterflyfish leads a rather solitary life. It roams the reef in search of prey, which it finds in crevices. Its long jaws allow it to probe effectively into the smallest gaps. Undemanding, it readily hunts molluscs and crustaceans, but shows a clear preference for worms.
