French angelfish

Distribution : Caribbean coast, from Florida to Brazil

Biology : This angelfish owes its name to its resemblance to French navy uniforms from the 18th and 19th centuries.
Adults feed mainly on sponges, but juveniles have a diet unique among angelfish, feeding on skin parasites of larger fish.
