Biology : This fish is a specialized coral predator. In the wild, its diet is extremely specific: it generally feeds on a few species of coral belonging to the genus Acropora. Its jaws are adapted to gently remove coral polyps. Because of this highly specialized diet, keeping it in an aquarium is particularly difficult.
