The Aquarium de Biarritz is making a big splash on the seafront. For around ten days, an open-air photo exhibition showcases 10 of our most iconic marine residents.
Half of the exhibition is dedicated to jellyfish, which you can also admire in our brand-new exhibit space. Five panels explore these mysterious and fascinating creatures in depth. The other five highlight emblematic species from the Aquarium, from the spectacular scalloped hammerhead shark to the playful grey seal, including the majestic green turtle, the colorful mandarin fish and the elegant copperband butterflyfish.
Each species is accompanied by an educational text designed to capture attention, spark curiosity and offer insights into marine biodiversity. Visitors of all ages are invited to learn more about these often-overlooked creatures and the importance of protecting them.
With this exhibition, the Aquarium de Biarritz furthers its mission of raising awareness by reaching out directly to beachgoers, families and holidaymakers.
